Miss Maggie received a request from a wonderful man who set up and runs sighthound rehoming Uk, through this work he has met many people. to cut a long and sad story short following the death of someone he knew, the wonderful Maggie found herself without a home.
Gift 59: Bee
It is always a sad day when a dog has to be returned to us at the kennels. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it is always heart breaking for the owner.
This beautiful little lady is Bee, she is an 11 year old sweetheart, who has had her owner taken into care after a series of events meaning he could no longer stay at home.
Gift 58: Scout
Gift 57: JoJo and Biscuit
Gift 56: Millie and Fea
Gift 55: Rupert
Rupert the eleven year old Lurcher handed in to Hector’s yesterday spent the night at our Vets receiving Intravenous fluids as he was severely dehydrated. Blood tests have shown he has an infection and he has commenced on a course of antibiotics. The infection is possibly due to advanced dental disease as there is no other apparent cause.
Rupert will of course need extensive dental surgery, but he isn’t fit enough yet. He weighs just 15.4kgs, he should weigh around 25kgs Rupert has moved to an experienced Hector’s foster home today for some much needed TLC.
This gentle boy has a long road of recovery and we are sorry to have to once again ask for your help with donations.
A huge thank you to Miss Maggie’s Supper Box who have already generously donated to his care.
